NAIFA of the Heartland is offering a $1000 scholarship to a graduating Kansas student who will pursue ANY post-secondary certification or degree. Student must have a GPA between 2.5 and 3.75. The one-page application, which should be typed in 12 pt. font, must contain the applicants name, address, name of parent/guardian, phone number, ACT score, cumulative GPA, and planned post-secondary schooling. It should be followed by an essay of 300 words or less that describe your goals, vision, and aspirations and how your education will help you to achieve them. THE BILL SPANIOL MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Kansas Environmental Health Association (KEHA) is a professional organization whose objective is to promote the competency and effectiveness of the environmental health professionals of Kansas. To maintain a competent environmental health workforce, KEHA recognizes the importance of a sound educational foundation. Since 2002, KEHA has offered one or more $500 scholarships from the Bill Spaniol Memorial Scholarship fund annually to encourage individuals to pursue a degree in Environmental Science or a related field.

Any student who will be graduating or has graduated from a Kansas high school and will be attending a technical college, community college or a four-year private or public college or university is eligible. First priority in awarding will be given to individuals who are seeking a career in Environmental Sciences or a related field. The Discus Awards College Scholarship

When most people think of college scholarships, they are usually thinking of a meteoric GPA or a fantastic win-loss record on a big sports team. Not the Discus Awards.
Discus Awards scholarships recognize leaders on the dance team, drywall hangers supporting Habitat for Humanity, shift leaders at Starbucks, active youth group members, and social media gurus.
