Central Plain Middle School Students Fundraiser
CPMS students spent a full day before Christmas Break creating wood projects, wood signs and painting jars for their upcoming fundraiser.
3-”Oiler Nation” Wood Signs
6-"Oilers" Wood Boards
12-Patriotic Wooden Centerpieces
12- Wooden Snowmen
22-Sets of 3 Jar Centerpieces
Grand total of 80 items to be raffled off.
This year they have decided to split the donations. Half of the proceeds will be put into our student activity fund here at school and the other half will be donated to Bailey Habiger to help with medical expenses. A raffle drawing will be held on the following CPMS & CPHS home basketball games: Jan. 14 vs. St. John, Jan. 17 vs. Kinsley, Jan 21 vs. Victoria in Bushton, and Feb. 8 in Claflin at the high school basketball game vs Lacrosse.
Bailey Habiger is a cousin to our 4th grade teacher, Taylor Siemsen. Bailey is a fifth grade student at Kinsley-Offerle Elementary School. Her parents are Scott & Jill Habiger. She has three siblings: Madison, Jon & Maci. Bailey loves school, stuffed animals, jokes, softball and Alfredo pasta. Unfortunately, Bailey received a diagnosis of Epilepsy 2 years ago. Since then, her medical expenses, between medications (over $1000 per month) and specialists, are ever growing. We are planning to give all of our fundraiser proceeds on January 14 & 17 to her and her family for medical expenses and anything else the family may need.
Hopefully everyone will enjoy the projects CPMS students made, as well as help support Bailey Habiger and her family.
