USD 112 MISSION STATEMENT  

Unified School District #112, in partnership with home and community, is dedicated to motivate, challenge, and educate students to become responsible, productive citizens in a diverse, global society. The district will provide educational experiences in a nurturing, student-friendly environment, which will empower each individual to achieve his/her greatest potential.

  • LOB Ballot
    REMINDER:
    The Local Option Budget ballot will be mailed to
    all USD 112 patrons on April 22nd, 2015.
    For the ballot to be valid, you must
    CONFIRM your address and SIGN the ballot.
    Return the ballot in the envelope provided by May 12, 2015.

    This special election gives the Board of Education the option, if needed, to increase the LOB to 33% of the General Fund Budget.

  • Match Madness
    On May 5th, 2015 USD 112 is participating in Match Madness.
    Every donation will be stretched further if you donate to USD 112 on-line at www.smokyhillscf.org from 12am-11:59:59pm or
     in person from 8am - 4pm at the district office.
    This one-day event is designed to generate new gifts to the endowed funds for USD 112 Central Plains for long-term support
    as well as provide current gifts to help meet immediate needs such as funds for a field trips, equipment or educational programs.

  • Position Available
    Central Kansas Cooperative in Education/USD 305 is accepting applications for a Highly
    Qualified Special Education Paraeducator for Central Plains High School in Claflin.  This
    position will begin August 18, 2015 and follow the Central Plains USD 112 school calendar
    Applicants need to have a high school diploma or GED. To become highly qualified you
    must have a minimum of 48 college hours, a post-secondary degree, or passing score on the
    Paraeducator assessment.  Should enjoy working with students in a classroom setting. Hourly
