After conducting an extensive superintendent search, USD 112 Central Plains is pleased to announce Bobby Murphy as our new superintendent effective July 1st!
Mr. Murphy has spent the last three years as the HS/MS principal at Sublette Middle School/High School. Before assuming his role as principal he taught in the middle school and elementary school at Southwestern Heights. During that time Mr. Murphy coached multiple sports and assisted in leading many activities in the community. Mr. Murphy values and looks forward to building relationships with students, teachers, and community members throughout the district.
Outside of school Mr. Murphy loves spending time with his wife, Jess, and their two sons, Kasen (5th grade) and Holden (1st grade). Jess has spent the last three years as the guidance counselor at Sublette MS/HS. Before becoming counselor she spent 10 years as a 4th grade teacher. Kasen and Holden are very active and enjoy going to school! They play multiple sports including football, basketball, and baseball.
The Murphy family will be moving to the area this Summer and look forward to meeting everyone in the community!
